How Can I Change My Address on Google?<\/h2>\n\n

There are two ways to change your business address on Google Maps: directly edit your NAP information after a Google search or go to your Google Business profile. Both methods will update your information on Google Maps and your Google Business profile.<\/p>\n\n

Guide to Changing Your Business Address on Google Maps<\/h2>\n\n

1. Change Direct Address from Google Search<\/h4>\n\n

The first method is a quick edit directly from the search engine results page (SERP) that displays your business profile:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Sign in to an email address linked to your Google Business account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Search for your business name in the Google search bar. Your business NAP information should appear on the right side of the results page or below the search bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click “Edit your business information” at the bottom of your profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select the “Location” tab to change the address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Enter the new address or delete the old one. If necessary, you can add a line for a suite or unit number. If Google can’t find your address right away, you’ll be prompted to move the red pin on the map to the correct location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Verify that everything is correct and click “Save”.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    After saving, Google will ask you to verify your new address.<\/p>\n\n

    2. Change the Address from Your Google Business Account<\/h2>\n\n

    The second method is through your Google Business account, which is especially useful if you manage multiple business profiles:<\/p>\n\n
